More advanced features now live!

Today sees the launch of some great new features that we've been busy working on lately.

Registered members of http:/fwd4.me (remember, registration is free!) can now switch to an 'Advanced Mode' when creating short urls. The new advanced mode offers:

Customized urls
Enter a long url and YOU decide what you want the short url to be. You are limited by only two things, 1) your imagination and 2) 10 characters. Some examples of customized short URLs that you can create: http://fwd4.me/scott - http://fwd4.me/yada - http://fwd4.me/wow - http://fwd4.me/bbc

Password protected short urls
Worried someone might find your short url? Only want certain people to use your short url? Now YOU can decide who clicks on / uses your short urls. Do this by adding passwords to the short urls you create.

Public Comments
You can add notes or comments to your short urls that everyone can see if they preview your short url

Private Comments
Want to add some personal notes or comments to your short urls that only you can see? Well now you can. Private comments can be viewed or edited from your profile page.
