A plea to TweetMeMe...

Just a quick post to ask for a bit of help really!

We recently implemented the fantastic TweetMeMe services to our blog, as you'll see from the cool icons on the left.

However, we have a problem and depending on how you look at the problem, it could be either a bit embarrassing, a rather large conflict of interest, or both...

As you'll see, there is an option available now for you to both see how many times our blog posts have been tweeted, plus the option for you to retweet them to your followers on Twitter, and herein lies the problem.

TweetMeMe offer support and integration for various URL Shorteners, unfortunately, TweetMeMe does not support Fwd4.Me so if you click on the retweet icon on this post, you'll be tweeting about a URL shortening blog post, using a URL shortener other than ours!

I'm sure you can see the irony :)

So, from one UK based group of cool people to another UK based group of cool people, we ask you TweetMeMe, please can we have support for Fwd4.Me and our API?

  2. I hope TweetMeMe do support fwd4.me, I use them both and all of my blogs and two other sites :)

  3. Hi there,

Thanks for the blog post and messages!

You'll be pleased to hear we have written the code to implement Fw4d.me in the TweetMeme button. We'll be deploying it some time soon, and updating our plugins with the option to enable it.

    Cheers
